Originally from South Africa, I have been passionate about painting and drawing for as long as I can remember. My journey with oil painting began at the age of 8, and throughout my school years, it became my medium of choice.

While I’ve explored various subjects like still life and landscapes, I’ve always beendrawn to the beauty and expression of thehuman face. Over the years, I’ve honed myskills through numerous art classes,experimenting with different mediums suchas watercolour, acrylic, mixed media,charcoal, and pencil.

After taking a 12-year break to focus on raising my family, I returned to art with a renewed passion and clear focus. Now, I trust my instincts and focus mainly on portraiture. Oil painting remains my predominant medium, and I often find myself inspired by a face or photograph that I feel compelled to bring to life on canvas.
